IIE is an international organization composed of student and professional chapters. At Texas A&M, we try to give our members a head start in the professional world by having real companies come and speak at every general meeting. IIE provides opportunities to experience a genuine industrial engineering environment with visits to various company locations. We also try to take the edge off of studying with our many social events.

The meetings are usually 7:15 PM (food at 7:00 PM), Tuesday night, every other week except during breaks and finals. Everyone is invited to attend our meetings to better understand Industrial Engineering and this organization. Also, there will be 2-3 plant tours per semester, usually on a Friday. Our past tours were all very informative as well as entertaining in many ways. To see which companies we have visited recently, as well as where we plan to go, visit our calendar. All of our socials and any other event we plan to present, have not been scheduled at any specific time and there is no limit to how many we can have.
