The Engineering Student Services and Academic Programs (ESSAP) creates and manages special programs for engineering students, and there are several Engineering Student Organizations to choose from. The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering has active student chapters of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE),and INFORMS.
